STARBEAST: "I do my best to keep my word, Lady Bunny. And because of the wonderful feedback I have gotten. I thought that was nice."
Of course! Wonderful feedback to a wonderful story! ;D
STARBEAST: "Me too. I used names from the tv show The NIGHT STALKER (Kolchak and Tony the editor), your name (the Librarian), Mr. Wesireal (the Professor), H.P.Lovecraft (a Doctor who works at the university), and myself (the Detective). I think it's fun to be in a story."
It is indeed! I often had the idea of doing a Forum Story (with all the members) but I never got around to do it.
STARBEAST: "No, it's a different story. I just wanted to write another "Lovecraft" tale, because I'm a big fan of his work. There have been others who were inspired to write short stories relating to the "Cthulu Mythos" (lovecraftian tales). Such writers as August Derleth, Robert E. Howard and even Robert Bloch who wrote his famous story PSYCHO. I wanted to be a part of the "Horror Pack".
Oh that's good that its a different tale, because I was thinking Dr Lovecroft will get killed soonish.
I can't say I heard about those authors, eventhough Robert E Howard does sound familiar. Psycho - I never watched/read it. I wasn't allowed to watch it as I was too young (it is a movie too, right? )
STARBEAST: "It's pronounced, KT-WHO-LOO. Mr. Lovecraft was certainly ahead of his time, coming up with such fantastic names."
Indeed he was!
STARBEAST: "I want to keep my copy of the NECROMONICON secret, and the weak-minded tend to go mad reading the evil book. As well as being in close proximity to it, can also make a person paranoid and mad. It has been known to upset animals who are close to it. I myself, can only read a little at a time, because the minions of the mighty CTHULU are always watching us who come in contact with the book."
What happens if you burn the book?
STARBEAST: "Nothing wrong with asking questions, I'm the curious type too, but I first, understand the boundries. Oh by-the-by, what does "NB" mean?"
Oh, there are no boundries in Honey Land, mate It was mrkite who told me about no boundries first.... and I seem to recall a joke about drinking relating to having no boundries, but sadly I cant remember it now (yes, I have a bad memory)
And NB stands for the Latin Notte Benne, which in English translates to Not Well. So it's like a PS (which is also Latin, i'd imagine... Post-Scriptum?) You see, in Hebrew (my first language) we write NB so I use it more than PS.
