Here's a short animated tale, from one of the master of horror writers, H.P.Lovecraft. FOR MORE H.P.LOVECRAFT STORIES, PLEASE REFER TO THE "STORIES" SECTION OF THIS SITE.

Creepy! But why is he terrible? The people who bother him shouldnt have meddeled.
I saw a book containing this story and others (The Dream Cycle of H P Lovecraft?) but I didnt know whether to get that book or Waking Up Screaming (or something along those lines) ....
Just in general, how would you compare him to Stephen King (apart from both of them writing horror)

Be sure to check to see if the books aren't inspired writers of H.P.Lovecraft. It's best to read his original work first.

Wow. from Barker to Lovecraft, a couple of horror giants, cool.
When I collected all of Mr Lovecraft's work, I read the whole thing. Not in one sitting of course, and I was blown away by his stories, he truely was ahead of his time. H.G. Wells had the same affect on me, I was astonished and inspired.

Indeed. I only read two Lovecraft stories so far and the first one, Cool Air, was like H G Wells writing horror. Cool Air by the way is a very nice story and has a real good ending.
It is sad, and ironic, that his works never been published as a book in his lifetime...

I've seen "COOL AIR" made into a couple of short tv versions, it is a good story.
