This is a self indulgent thread for me , but i hope you have a listen to the songs , some you may know and some you may not . The Needle And The Damage Done is a song Neil wrote for a member of his band Crazy Horse called Danny Whtten would overdosed on Heroin , so when you find put what the song is about it then becomes another song to what you heard the first time around . Over The Hills .. always reminds me of school holidays in the summer and the times when summer days just seemed to go on forever and has a Albion feel to it days of knights and dragons , i dont why i think that , i just do . Do You Realize . It brings out my soft side and it just puts life in a basic theme , we are here to love and live and then when your times up you should have no regrets , like i should have said this and was afraid too , kinda feeling Maria Mckee - Precious Time Laura Veirs - Rapture John Martyn - Head and Heart .

Ok i will . ;D Rapture , you may have heard it you may have not Honey Precious Time . Maria . Now i`m always going on about what a great and underated songwriter Maria is and a voice to match , but this song is not hers its from a band called The Jayhawks , why i like it , well its just a brilliant song and if you think this is a good vrsion you should her the studio one . Rapture .Laura Viers . A Canadian Songstrees who so much reminds me of Joni M but i think thats unfair on Laura , she is a poet and just this song shows how you get drawn into the lyrics of her songs . Head and Heart - John Martyn . This fellow has always been a great musician but i have never beeen able to get into his music , he tends to go all Jazzy and i don`t like Jazz , but when he plays Folk , well i sooner have Mr H or Bob D, but when i heard this song well , from the second its on you know that its pure genius . Communication . The Cardigans . This song is just beautiful , why well its a perfect song it has it all , its great music great lyrics that mean what they say . The song on here is live and she does struggle but it still hits the spot and isnt live better than a hundred takes that most bands do today. Love the Cardies Kite - U2. Well this band and me go back to 1983 and you could pick any song of this band from then and onwards . Bono and the boys got me threw the 80s and i thank them and with the title of this song well... seems to be fitting .

I have sorted it , and put my latest favs on instead ;D And more P.J. Big Exit - live .. A turn it uppy one Saw her on this tour she was without doubt brilliant ! The Wind - Live . Catherine liked high places High up on the hills A place for making noises Noises like the Whales Here she built a chapel with Her image on the wall A place where she could rest and A place where she could wash and listen to the wind blow She dreamt of children's voices And torture on the wheel Patron-Saint of nothing A woman of the hills She once was a lady Of pleasure, and high-born A lady of the city But now she sits and moans and listens to the wind blow I see her in her chapel High up on a hill She must be so lonely Oh Mother, can't we give A husband to our Catherine? A handsome one, a dear A rich one for the lady Someone to listen with . Rid Of Me - Live . Mad but brilliant !
