^ They are lovely when fried [Sorry, it was just unexpected to see big black letters. ] But anyway, H P Lovecraft.... Havent read much from him. But as I said in the other thread, he really does remind me of H G Wells. It's like what you would have got if H G Wells wrote horror. When I read Dagon, I immedeatly thought back to your Lovecraft tribute story, Starbeast. You wrote it very much in his style. Let me quote a famous Lovecraft quote, like his stories, the quote is... well makes me go ".... damn!" The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear,
and the oldest and strongest kind of fear
is fear of the unknown [/center]

I like the things people say in movies and books when they are really surprized. Like: "GOOD GRAVEY!" However "BLOODY HELL!" is still a classic with me, especially in comedy movies.
Wow, I haven't read Dagon in a while, but I did see the movie a few years ago. In fact, I may watch it again tonight.
And yes, my style is very much like Mr Lovecraft when I get involved in a horror tale, it's easy for me to get the muse of dark horror fantasy in my mind, even for my artwork.
Great quote.

Haha Good Gravey is hillerious! I might use it now! you should watch The Thin Blue Line... it is full of those funny remarks. For example "What in the devil's desk diary are you doing here?" Why do you keep mentioning movies based on Lovecraft's work, if you said in another thread that there are no movies about his books? I be confuzed.

You might have misunderstood me, I have a thread called "MOVIES THAT SHOULD BE MADE".
I will list the movies that have been made later.

Just read The Moon Bog - that's classic horror story with such a classic horror story ending!
Also I read The Beyond (I think it was called that)... That felt like reading H G Wells! All the sciency stuff and the first person.... all remind me of H G Wells.
Did H P Lovecraft ever write in the third person?
