Some films need to be seen and then theres the rest . Heres a thread where you can put films you think need to be seen . Try not to spoil them though for the people who hav`nt . Blade Runner . When this came out in 1982 , the reviewers didn`t get it the audience didn`t, and for me one of my biggest disappointments in the my movie life that i have never seen it on the big screen . Then i got to finally see it on Video ,and that was it , the best Sci Fi film i have seen so far . Whats good about ? i hear you ask It shows that a film can also be a piece of art , the lighting and the view of the future , is more predictable in this film then any other film that came before or after . Then theres the story of an ex Blade Runner who is asked to find an seek out runaway Replicants [androids ] and terminate them. There is also a question that will leave you thinking for years to come each time you watch it again . Also what is human? , what is a artifical life ? A powerful film to watch and you dont even realize it . 25 years on this is still a film you must see before you die .

^ Sounds good, I'll give it a go The Lord of the Rings is another one. Based on a book written by the Father of Fantasy and adapted so wonderfully into a 3 part movie with great actors, dialogues and music... it didnt get 11 oscars for nothing!

Blade Runner.... well I've seen it yesterday... Well, it wasn't too bad. I can't say that it left me with a lot of questions [Solaris for example, left me with more questions]... It is very Matrix-like. But I think Do Androids DREAM of Electric sheep will be better, more explainable and more deep perhaps...

Pulp Fiction . This is a gem and if you see it once you havn`t seen it . Tarrentino loves films and he loves music and this brilliant film shows the mans talent for mixing them together . You know when you talk about a film and say "the classic scene in the film was ..." This film is all classic scene, Honey Bunny and Pumpkin , the Cheese Royal , the tasty hamburger , the watch up his ass , the overdose ...and on and on , its a brilliant film and if Tarrentino ever makes a better film than this i will have a five dollar shake . Heres a clip of the Beautiful Uma Thurman and John Travlota .

I reckon Chicago is another great one to watch before you die. It got everything in it, excellent songs, actors [even though it has renee z... ] , shows a fair bit of reality too. As one magazine once put it, "its not the usual crap we get from hollywood" The Cell Block Tango Both Reached For The Gun

THE DAY THE CLOWN DIED
It is an unreleased film by JERRY LEWIS (comedian, screenplay writer, actor, producer and director). It takes place in World War 2, and is about a jewish circus clown who is put in a concentration camp. He secretly preforms for people at night, but one day he is discovered and is tortured, then finally put to death. Mr. Lewis wanted to make a film that was heart-warming, full of hope and terribly sad. I believe this film was too far ahead of it's time when it was created, and at the time there was too much racisim. Today, I think it should finally be released, because there are movies that are slightly simular to it. Like the films: LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL and JACOB THE LIAR. Perhaps, this comic genius will one day show the world the movie.[/b]

It is an UNRELEASED film by JERRY LEWIS (comedian, screenplay writer, actor, producer and director). [/b][/center] Sorry Lady Bunny,
but you won't find it anywhere. Mr. Lewis never released it. I hope one day he does, I'll be first in line to rent it.
