This is another great one! I must admit, i had a different view as to what will happen, but it turned out to be a good chapter! Here are some great quotes I always love it when the Cat is mentioned The secret cream to look younger- black magic! ;D That brings back memories.... ;D

My first story i wrote with a little help from a friend . I Will have to read it again , its been awhile ;D Edit bit . I have just read it and i am surprised how i haven't gone into a lot of comedy on it . i guess it was early days I have tweaked a few typos and i have changed Kite from "i live in Hyde " which he does to "My mum and dads house , in which obvious he did as a teenager . The Title of the story is from a line of a Who song Baba O` Riley

^ tweaking about eh? From what i remember it was meant to be a rather "serious" story, initiallly. Its bice to re-read them, innit? The title - i remember you had to explain to me what Wasteland means. Never knew it was from a Who song Here's how the first peragraph was originally, thank god i didnt include the bolded bit wont you say? It was the times i used to connect everything to the economy.... Having missed the last bus, Jane was walking homeward (as there was no other choice, really Although she could have stayed the night at the bus stop and be the first on the early bus the next day. And although sleeping at the bus stop may help the economy and unemployment in the way that her health will be failing and consequently there will be an increase in demand for doctors... something told her not to). While walking Jane could feel that someone was walking behind her. It must have been that good looking young man from the bus stop who must have missed the bus too. She glanced back just to be sure. It was him. Jane thought he looked like a hippie what with all his long red hair. He certainly didn't look like the typical drunkards, druggies and dumb teenagers who prowled the streets at this time of night. His slow walk, hands inside jeans pockets, and occasional sighs, made him appear somewhat gloomy to her. Indeed, these were not happy times what with all the inner city riots and unemployment being high. However he did give her the sweetest smile (albeit wry) when she looked at him and his big blue beautiful eyes made Jane feel that there was more to this young man than meets the eye...

Sleep at the bus stop ! Not a lady thing to do , in those days But in the song, they sleep in the craven so why couldnt she sleep at the bus stop? Thats a nice song. I like The Who but not when they get all ... wild, as it were.
