Started watching the x-files, gave up after 2 episodes. The truth is out there, by all means, but what is the truth and what is the govt doing with the aliens, is my main question. I suppose if there are answers to those questions, we will know them in the end but the way each episode is made , sadly to say that I do not have the patience to get through 100+ episodes (and I am a very unpatient person ). Frankly, I think I would have enjoyed a book about the x-files (eventhough that would mean not seeing the lovely Mr D ) I will give the movie a chance (becuase it has Billy Connolly in it and Mr D! ) Here's a funny thing about the x files and Being for the Benefit of Mr Kite in the background (cheers Kite for finding it) ;D

I just seen the '97 movie ... it's good, I liked it... but I think I prefer the movie more than the series...

I watch the last half an hour of it everyday when I have breakfast. There was a cool line in today's episode "You kill one man's religion you create a crusade"

Watched the "new" movie last week. It was.... so un-xfiley! The first one was way better.

"Mulder, I don't want to look into the darkness anymore." - Scully (then she collapsed because the 2nd movie was sickenly awful; Mulder looks at the screenplay writer with disgust etched in his face)
[glow=red,2,300]X-FILES 2: I WANT TO BELIEVE[/glow]
I was disappointed in it too. After a third of the movie went by, I thought, "Hey, no aliens and no supernatural beings, I thought the movie was supposed to be about Mulder getting closure to the disappearance of his sister." Wow, was I in for a surprise, the title of the film was very misleading, NO ALIENS!
Even the story had been done before in other movies, and we all could easily figure out the ending. What a waste of 5 bucks and time that rehashed nonsense was, such an awful waste of talent and film.

Unfortunately, I've been out of touch with tv show, because of too many other shows to watch, sorry.
But, if Mulder's sister was cloned, then, it's not his REAL sister.
