The TV is full of comedy shows. The only comedies I tend to watch are British comedies from UKTV, such as The Thin Blue Line , Dad's Army , Allo Allo, Only Fools....
David Croft does great "war-themed-comedies" .
I love watching Who's Line Is It Anyway [the american one is better than the british I would say...]

He is not really on tv, but he is comedy.
Brilliant British comedian, Steve Coogan, transforms himself into so many others: Pauline Calf and her brother Paul Calf, that Portugese singer, and of course his most famous persona Alan Partridge.
I saw him live last month, and he was amazing! Hearing the real man saying "Ah-ha" was absoloutely fab!

I rather like Steve Coogan myself,i was completely obsessed with Alan Partridge at one point,i watched them everyday and pretty much knew it word for word,my friends said i WAS the crazy fan in one of the episodes haha i want one of those face masks hes so awesome xD i try to sneak in his qoutes in real life also like commenting on how big someones room is "you could swing a tiger in here, wouldnt want to though...not unless it had been stunned, even then its going to weigh the best part of a ton" lol hm quite random but verry funny if you get it.
You saw him live? how was he?

I'll have to watch that youtube when I get home. But yes, Steve Coogan is amazing! He came down to Wellington begining of the month (If I recall correctly). I had crap seat (but they costed me accordingly! ) but I enjoyed it! Especially his singing. I never thought I would say this, but I think he is better than Billy Connoly I mean, Billy is a legend in the Comedy world but when I saw his show it seemed as if he was retelling his jokes and trying desperately to get the audience to laugh, whereas Steve Coogan actually puts on a show (his multiple personna helps). I mean, dont get me wrong, Billy Connoly, is great but Steve Coogan better (?) -Perhaps their ages got something to do with it- In the Steve Coogan show that I went to , when he was doing Alan Partridge, his show was sponsered by Whiskers (an image of a cat that shrieks Meow!). And whenever Alan said "whiskers" the cat would shriek his head off I wish I would have recorded some of the show , but I was sitting too close to the security people.
