Currently I am reading The First Men in the Moon by H G Wells.
I am only on chapter 6 but it is so well written and grabs your attention from the first page... well, it is a Wells!
I was reading the third book in the Twilight Saga but it got boring so I am reading Wells for a while, hehe

I am giving the First Men on the Moon a rest. (despite what I said before)
All this talk about H P Lovecroft, and werewolves and horror made me feel to go back to reading horror. So I bought me a Clive Barker book. It's quite cute really, so far anyway.

Taking another chance at Clive Barker . I picked up Mister B. Gone. Very cool indeed - I mean how many books do you read where the entire book is a conversation (a confession, rather) between a demon to a reader? And it grips you from the first words "Burn this book".
I hope it will have a good ending.

But alas the ending was not good. After a particular point in the story, it just began to lose its strong grip on the reader. Barker had so much deepness he could have made a really good and strong ending, but he didn't. I feel like I am talking to myself.

I'm not reading anything besides academic articles these days! >< But I am sort of in the middle of Twilight Watch (a fantasy book by Sergei Lukyanenko, part of the "Watch" series. I could read the original Russian version, but I read English faster). Sometimes I read it before bed. maybe I'll finish it by the end of the year, at this rate

Hmm, you've got me interested to read "Mr B" by Barker.
I haven't seen any horror movies in a while, I still need to see "Midnight Meat Train", and quite a few others.
I shall return with a few book reviews later.

Hmm, you've got me interested to read "Mr B" by Barker. Read it! Read it! Read it! Read it! Read it! Read it! Honestly, you wouldn't be able to put it down What's good to read right now? Well, I'm planning to read Frankenstein after Lovecraft. I don't think we have similar tastes in books... Apparently Robin Hobb is good. I started her but couldnt really get into her . Might give her another chance at some point in time... but you can try her, see if she catches your fancy

Hmm.. I have nothing to read. I been reading bits from the Master but I want to read something I havent read before.
Any ideas?
I do have Barker's Weaveworld, I could start on it... but I also want to read Dan Brown's new book (which I need to buy).
So what will it be?

I'm reading The Light Fantastic by Terry Pratchett. I'm loving it so much! And I loved The Colour of Magic before it too. I haven't been so excited about a book in ages! That may partially be because I haven't read for pleasure in ages (due to study), but also becuase I love how Mr Pratchett writes And the characters are awesome! I think I'm becoming a Discworld fan ;D I highly recommend these books (unless one happens not to like a combo of fantasy and humour.... but I do )
