What was meant to be a love poem, turned into a nightmare... Oh well.
Harry's NightmareIt was a day like any other
For the grave digger Harry
Dig a bit more, dig a bit further
The place for one to be burried
Another day of working hard
And breaking his back
Walking tiredly through the graveyeard
Just wanting to hit the sack
But then he became wide awake
When he heard her cry
He ran down to the lake
And beauty caught his eye
She was simply standing there
Waiting to sail
The moon shimmered her white hair
And her skin ghostly pale
"I need to cross the water"
The lady coldly said
She asked if Harry could help her
When he asked "why?" she answered "I'm already dead"
"I'm going to the afterlife"
She showed Harry the money
The thing stuck in her back was a knife
And Harry decided not join her on this journey
"Goodbye my friend, fare you well, hope to see you soon"
She grew smaller and smaller and then out of sight
With a gasp Harry found himself in his room
Alone in the dead of night
For Harry wasn't quite aware
That this story was his nightmare.
