For the longest time friends and I would watch horror movies, have little parties and go to professional haunted houses, or just do something with a Halloween theme. People around and in my city would put up decorations early, right now it's almost every where you look, I like it cause it's harmless fun.

Of course. It is a big thing in America, right? Not a big thing in any of the countries I lived in. We try to avoid little kids knocking at our door asking for candy. Hehe You just gave me a brilliant idea, Beastie!

...IN MY CONVERTABLE MUSTANG Oooh he's got style!
SCULLY, MULDER AND I MET THE ALIENS, HAD SOME LUNCH WITH THE OUTWORLDERS AND SAID OUR GOODBYES TO THE FRIENDLY AND POLITE BEINGS FROM ANOTHER GALAXY. Classic!
Kolchak began to get nervous: "Independent News Service sir....Mr-Mr-Mr Esposito." Tee Hee
I saw them in the NECRONOMICON. Yes, the dreaded NECRONOMICON...an evil reference book of astral demonic knowledge, hand written in human blood by a mad sorceror. And the only one I knew who had this forbidden magic book was the young Dr H.P. Lovecraft from Miskatonik University. Ah, old names
and might be annoyed by us shooting at it. haha, who wouldnt!
At last, I finally got Lovecraft to smile with teeth, he seems to really get into his work just like your's truely, me. Aw, nice way to end a chapter and off to an adventure!
Way to go Beastie!
PS. Hope you are all rested, brain and body!

Glad you like the new Kolchak story, I hope to see you putting together a story of your own, perhaps even a Honeyland tale.
Sparrow and Pbeng are working on their stories, I just missed Sparrow as I logged on today.
Enjoy your day, I'm going out for lunch now.

Ah, I'd love to write a story.... I did start once but I didnt see where it was going so I deleted it. And besides, I have no inspiration these days. But perhaps it will come to me one of these days. You know I think that my stories dont have very good plot. I dont think it grabs the reder, as it were. But there should be a continuation for Honeyland, so maybe I'll think about it. Or I can do a Beatles-Halloween story... Seems to be a tradition (where George is always to feel sorry for)
I'm glad that you all are writing stories. I know I should write too, but as I said, I am not inspired these days. Too much other things happening too. But as long as there are readers and writers that's good! We shall all keep it up!
Hope you had a good lunch! I am hoping to go out for lunch tomorrow. Gotta go to the doc too, I think the chemicals at work are effecting my lungs. Been caughing a lot.... But that is weird because I been working with these chemicals for almost two years, so it does not make sense why it should effect me now. Hmpf, the doc should know , I guess.
See ya around matie!

Thought you might like this song. Music and lyrics wise. If you like it, and want more from this band... Mr Kite is your man!

I hope your employers allow you to wear a gas mask when working with toxic chemicals. And have proper ventillation with incoming fresh air. I've known people who worked at chemical plants that got ill because of breathing fumes from dangerous chemicals. I hope the doctor finds you healthy, I would be sad if you get sick.

Just finished the story. Man, you write so good! Your style really captures the reader. I think it is especially so, due to the fact that it is in the first person and that person is the lively and humouristic Kolchak. Definately appeals to me. However, I find it hard to believe that the mad doctor scientist, Dr P (how do you even pronounce his name?) believed Kolchak to be on his side. But then again, many people who get magalomaniacally mad, or really want something will believe anything that suits them I guess. Why didn't he kill Kolchak, knock out Lovecraft and awake him to meet Cthulu? I really liked too the Cthulu note. Very clever! In one of my stories I had a prophecy I came up with, and the hard thing was one- to make it rhyme and have it make sense, and two- to actually play alongside it. At the end, I just had Albert say "prophecies dont mean nothing". I like that story of mine, it's quite good. Well, here's to another great Kolchak! Join me with some fine billion yrs old wine!

Thanks for tha Halloween greeting, I hope you had fun today.
Work wasn't too bad today, I was very busy fixing up the store so my day went by quickly.
You pronounce Pretorious = Pre-toe-ree-us
And he did like Kolchak,.........if you remember he knew who Carl was because the doctor enjoyed reading the I.N.S. newspaper.
And since Dr Pretorious had to attack Carl for smashing his machine, he decided at that instant to turn on the device and break off the switch so it couldn't be turned off.
I'm glad you liked the Honeyland Tale, I wanted to do one for Halloween.
Well, good night...........

What a wonderfully lovely story you have started! I might do a New Year's one. Heh Heh Heh You have very good story-telling skills! Owlbert spoke with his mouthful: "Meez na guy um a med moot."Loved that! Have you actually tried to say it with your mouthful? Owlbert finished the sandwich: (clears throat) "Sorry. Santa is a guy who wears a red suit, he flys around the world, gives out toys to good kids and punishes bad cities."
Fritz the blue dragon looked confused: "Huh?"
Starbeast had to ask: "Why?"
Owlbert sounded like he knew what he was talking about: "Well, he likes to wear red and he likes to reward good kids."
Uh-oh, I must step away...................... Oooh, something is up your sleeve, Starbeast! I wonder what it is [as I am in the dark about what Owlbert meant] And, Merry Christmas!
